Our biltong is available sliced or in sticks.
Any shipped orders are vacuum packed and sent you with the requisite brown paper
bags to store it in once you have opened it, because everyone knows that you
cannot keep biltong in plastic - it needs to breath! I only make one kind of biltong, very lekker.
At Braaitime our droewors is so tasty and authentic you'll think you are at the local butcher in Parys. We use the original 100% beef, thin casing recipe. The droewors is sent in 1lbs vacuum sealed packs as 4inche "sticks" with brown paper bags for storage once open.
Our boerewors is just like the wors you get back home - great on the braai. We stick to a recipe that won a 'Best Boerewors in South Africa" award back in 1993. The spicing is moderate, with enough coriander, salt and pepper to know they are there, but not so much that it overpowers. It comes to you as 2lbs coil. The way us South Africans like it, none of these sausage link things. One coil is enough for at least half a dozen boerie rolls, with some taste tester left over for the Braaimaster. ** The boerewors requires special over night shipping and packaging in order to stay frozen, this adds $26 per order for the overnight shipping and the cooler box. That adds up to $50 for a 4Lbs pack of boerewors on your doorstep the next day - enough to make 15 boerie rolls.
