About Our Trivets:

Our trivets take many hours our serious contemplation over numerous bottles of good Red Wine - literally!  They are made from the corks collected from hundreds of wine bottles over the years. 

These beautiful little items are hand made in a private carpentry workshop, with the standards and quality control being enforced by a perfectionist carpenter, who is known to scrap an entire project if angles don't turn out perfect.  The Trivet frame itself is made of top quality oak.  The base is counter sunk and the corks are also sunken into the bed of the frame to create a sleek elegant and presentable finished product.  Many have commented on a number of occasions that a group of trivets trivets placed together on a wall would look amazing as tiles or as a back splash.
